The CITB Temporary Works Supervisor Training Course (TWSTC) is a one-day, CITB-accredited programme designed to support those with responsibility for supervising temporary works. This course is regarded as a business-critical requirement for the safe management of temporary works. It provides delegates with a clear understanding of the duties of a Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) and the broader management framework within which the role operates, addressing the roles of other key stakeholders such as Temporary Works Coordinators. Emphasis is placed on the 4Cs — Communication, Co-ordination, Co-operation, and Competency. Delegates are assessed through a multiple-choice test at the end of the training. Successful candidates will be awarded a CITB-accredited certificate, valid for five years.
