Course Details
The Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Refresher is a CITB-accredited two-day programme designed for individuals who already hold a valid SMSTS certificate. This course provides an essential update on the latest health, safety, welfare, and environmental legislation, ensuring continued compliance within the UK construction industry. Delegates must provide evidence of successfully completing the full five-day SMSTS course to be eligible. The refresher must be completed before the current certificate expires; successful completion will renew the qualification for a further five years. The SMSTS Refresher course is specifically tailored for site managers, supervisors, and others with managerial responsibilities in the construction sector who wish to maintain their certification, competence, and professional credibility. Upon completion, candidates will be awarded a CITB SMSTS certificate, valid for five years.
