Course Details
The CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) is a two-day course that forms part of the CITB Site Safety Plus programme and is delivered through an accredited network of CITB-approved training providers. This course is specifically designed for team leaders, foremen, gangers, first-line managers, and supervisors who have, or are about to assume, supervisory responsibilities. It provides participants with a clear understanding of their legal duties and equips them with the knowledge and skills required to effectively plan, monitor, and supervise health and safety practices on site. Delegates develop the competence to take responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of their teams, while promoting a positive safety culture. Upon successful completion, candidates will receive a CITB Site Safety Plus certificate, valid for five years.
